The traders claim that the amount of money collected in the name of service charge is not spent on half of it. Most of the money goes in the pocket of the leaders of the association.

Electricity from the whole market is supplied from a line. A bill of 65 thousand rupees has been made in the first 11 days of this October. DOSCO officials say that the bill does not exceed two million rupees per month in that meter. But about three and a half million rupees were collected from five hundred shops every day for the electricity bills of Tk 23 a day. That is, the amount of bill that is being made in the month of the year, the amount of double the money is taken from the electricity bill.

In the business type, then the electricity bill came to 300-900 rupees. It would take a businessman's service charge, electricity bills, and spend a maximum of Tk 1,200. Now these costs have increased five to six times.

Vegetable trader Abul Hashem said that they would get security, cleanliness, water, generator and other necessary services before the daily 10 rupees. He said, before the electricity bill came to 300-400 rupees per month according to the meter. The service charge, electricity bill and other expenses amounted to Rs. 700 in the month. Now, small and big businessmen have to pay six thousand rupees a month.
