Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) 'Ship Fleet' will be adding another 5 commercial vessels in February. This information was given at a meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Shipping Ministry of Parliament on Sunday.

It was the 59th meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Shipping of the 10th Parliament.

It was mentioned in the meeting that, among the six ships under the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, the first ship of 'Bengal's Joyjaya' was engaged in commercially traded commercial activities. The remaining 5 ships will be added to the shipping corporation in February next year.

Committee chairman Major (retd) Rafiqul Islam Bir Uttam presided over the meeting. Committee Member Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan, Md. Habibur Rahman, Ranjit Kumar Roy, Md. Anwarul Azim (Anner) and Momtaj Begum took part in Advocate meeting.

In the meeting, detailed discussions about the activities of the Chittagong Port Authority, the problems and future plans, the activities of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) and the overall activities of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC).
